The One Handed Backhand is still alive!

The One Handed Backhand is perhaps the most beautiful stroke in tennis.

Roger Federer, Stan Wawrinka, Grigor Dimitrov, Tommy Robredo, Richard Gasquet and others at the top of the game keep it alive.

Tennis Quote of the Day: Length of Contact

"One skill that has been lost in today's fast-paced game with large racquets and high-spin strings is length of contact. [Notice] the length of professional strokes, and [notice] how pros hit through the ball toward their targets. [Most players] don't have a decent length of contact - it's the biggest mistake I see among players. I say to students, pretend you are hitting the ball with the palm of your hand, so you have to go through it for a long time. This will keep you on the ball longer and give your shots more power and precision."
